"Ever since I was young, I wanted to transform unstructured marketing data into actionable insights."
This was in the farewell email I got last Friday. It was from a colleague who was let go due to restructuring and it got a good chuckle from me. I saw it on Instagram a while back but to see it being used in real life setting was something else.

This also got me thinking about this song and dance we've been doing in the names of securing better jobs. As much as I take my job seriously, we all know at the end of the day, it is truly a means to an end. It is a job.
Now let me just go type up the cover letter that says how passionate I am about optimising business processes.
